The New Hope Research Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a genetic cure for GM2 gangliosidosis (Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff diseases) and other lysosomal storage diseases.  Great strides have been made in the scientific understanding of these diseases and potential gene therapy, but finding a cure for these diseases will still require extensive scientific research.  All donations are used to support these medical research activities.

The New Hope Research Foundation has been granted 501(c)(3) charitable organization status by the US IRS with treatment as a private operating foundation under Code section 4942(j)(3). Donations are tax deductible.
